After Fence Install Check List - Nashville TN
K&C Fence Company
When having a fence installed, damage to utilities, concrete needing time to set up, among other things, should be considered a normal part of fence installation construction.
See the after install check list below to identify repairs needed and to avoid other possible issues.
Don’t Shake Fence Post or Use Gates for 48 Hrs
Shaking fence posts or using gates after install can cause fence posts to be loose and concrete to be set up incorrectly.
Perform a Utility Test
We can often break sprinkler lines, cable lines, sewer and other lines not marked or marked incorrectly by 811 Tn One Call during install and it is important to check all utilities for needed repairs.
Spaces Under The Fence
Check for spaces under the fence to prevent pets from escaping.
Remember: depending on your ground condition, you may have gaps under your fence or gate that may require you to fill in (if possible) after your fence has been installed.
